Our stay at Villa San Donato for Christmas was truly exceptional. The manager Luca went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment, even offering us a lift to and from the station. The location, just a stone's throw from the city walls and medieval center, was ideal for exploring Lucca's charming streets and architectural wonders. The room we chose with a balcony was not only spacious and well-equipped but also exuded the essence of Italian heritage with its elegant decor inspired by the Italian Palazzo style. The breakfast, a delightful mix of sweet and savory options served in the enchanting garden, was a perfect start to our days of adventure in Lucca. From the personalized service to the historical ambiance, Villa San Donato captured the true essence of Italian hospitality, making our Christmas holiday a memorable one.
